Taking its thematic cues from the series itself, AMC used its social media campaign to encourage users to take sides between Power’s two main characters, Ghost and Tommy. Utilizing a clever mix of motion graphics, GIFs, and video, the campaign stretched the abilities of Twitter in a way that fans were not used to seeing elsewhere. Additionally, the tight integration with the series’ storyline maintained intense engagement, while pure unpredictability kept anticipation at a fever pitch.
