WWE Network, which now offers premium live content directly to fans in more than 180 countries, increased subscribers 24% from the third quarter 2015 to a record 1.46 million average paid subscribers over the third quarter 2016. Revenue increased 18% to $42.8 million from $36.4 million in the prior year quarter. According to a 2016 Parks Associates study, WWE Network has the second highest “Net Promoter Score (NPS)” among major OTT video services in the U.S., only behind Netflix. It’s also on pace to add more than 300 hours of original content in 2016, and more than 2,500 hours of archival content.
