ActiveVideo Networks, formerly ICTV, is demonstrating at The Cable Show an expanded portfolio of programming and applications designed to enable new levels of diversity, personalization and targeting on television. Applications that will be demonstrated in booth 415 include: social networking functionality that allows viewers to link online communities with TV viewing; VOD menuing that enables viewers to sample VOD content through rich media, trailers and metadata; and ActiveVideo Channels and advertising showcases that can immerse viewers in specific relevant content, create customized and personalized experiences, enable them to learn more about a particular story or product, and even allow them to make a purchase via keyclicks on standard remote controls.
