The Dallas Mavericks and BIAP announced today an agreement to develop the first ever professional sports Team Widget for the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks. This TV Widget will be available to all video operators deploying the EBIF platform. Jointly producing the Team Widget, the companies will develop a template that is scalable across the EBIF platform and will be made available to other professional sports franchises and NCAA sports teams.

It is envisioned that the Mavericks Team Widget will encompass in-depth and real time statistics and scores, breaking team news, video highlights, interviews and in game play by play. It is anticipated that the Mavericks Team Widget will be available for deployment at the beginning of the 2010 NBA season.
