EVP, Marketing and Creative, TV Land
Marketing and creative for TV Land falls under Rosenblum’s purview, and this past year that included campaigns for “Hot In Cleveland”—including a live episode—and the network’s first African-American targeted sitcom, “The Soul Man.” The latter brought a new group of viewers to the network. Up next: marketing efforts for “Kirstie,” a new sitcom with Kirstie Alley, Michael Richards and Rhea Perlman. Rosenblum’s favorite part of the gig is “the day ‘it’ happens”—the premiere, the shoot, the moment when “all the hard work, planning, and effort collide.”
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is the day “it” happens. If I’ve been working on a launch, premiere day is the best. If I’m on a creative project, the shoot day is my favorite part. I like when it all comes together, that one moment when all the hard work, planning, and effort collide.
How do you define success in the workplace?
Maybe I’m pragmatic, or just a Marketing Geek, but success for me is accomplishing a goal. If you set big goals and achieve them, pop a cork.
Who would you want to swap jobs with for a month and why?
My babysitter. But just for a month.
