From pre-theatrical VOD to same-day DVD releases, Schwartz’s bold distribution avenues keep everyone happy, including those who tally the profits. What’s the key to staying sane when things get crazy? “A sense of humor,” she says.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is working with our distribution partners to develop innovative ways of making our films easily accessible and available to viewers across multiple platforms.
How do you define success in the workplace?
My definition of success is if you look forward to going to work every day and feeling like your contributions make a difference to the overall success of the business.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
A sense of humor. Nobody gets it right every day, but if you resign yourself to do the best job you’re capable of, and include your family in that equation, it’s a good start.
