In a move calculated to make Michael Powell’s head explode, sexpot Carmen Electra has launched the NWWL, which stands for—wait for it—The Naked Women’s Wrestling League. Electra will act as the commissioner of the league, which, and we quote, "will combine full nudity with WWE quality wrestling." The 1st matches are set for next month on PPV. — As of our deadline, Viacom [VIA] and EchoStar [DISH] had yet to call a truce in their public spat. If the 2 don’t reach a deal or agree to a retrans extension, Viacom could pull signals for 15 CBS stations and some 20 cable nets at midnight tonight. Over the weekend Viacom ran a scroll on several nets, including MTV, instructing EchoStar/Dish Net subs to call EchoStar to keep from losing the nets subs "have paid for." — Music Choice will provide premiere concerts for more than 900K Bright House subs in the Tampa Bay area on Sat nights. — Bravo will send out groups of improv actors in NY, Chicago and L.A. to tout improv comedy "Significant Others" (premieres tomorrow, 9pm ET). — AMC doc "Women on Top: Hollywood and Power" received a Gracie award from Am Women in Radio and TV.
