Pa.-based MegaPhase has developed a new tool for engineers who design and build RF/Microwave systems and components. Testing engineers can now download the iOS app for iPhone (which also runs on the Apple iTouch and iPad) from the iTunes Store to simplify daily calculations and estimates.

"The MegaPhase app is an essential utility for test engineers when specifying RF coaxial cables and connectors," reports William Pote III, MegaPhase’s founder and CEO. Engineers can use the app to:

>> Receive assistance when specifying cables,

>> Examine complete product datasheets.

The MegaPhase app also provides engineering tools and converters, including:

>> A RL/VSWR Converter,
>> A dB per pound Converter,
>> A dBm to watts converter and
>> Flashlight.

Custom cables can be built and emailed instantly for quick quotes.
