His tome is called Or Not to Be, a collection of suicide notes by famous people such as Kurt Cobain, Vincent Van Gogh, Diane Arbus, Sylvia Plath and Virginia Woolf. Know what else? He was a bird warden in college and lived on an island with 10,000 terns, as part of the “Falkner Island Tern Project.”
