As President and CTO of Evolution Digital, Smith oversees teams of engineers developing CPE and myriad IP Video hardware and software—and he has been the visionary behind the company’s transition toward a top IP video resource for Tier 2 and 3 operators. Whether it’s leading development on Evolution Digital’s eBOX IP Hybrid Set-Top Box or the eVUE-TV IP Video Platform being deployed by WOW! and other NCTC members, Smith has dedicated himself to providing an IP linear and VOD platform with thousands of hours of content on one, seamless platform.

Smith not only oversees software and hardware on hybrid STBs deployed internationally, but he also spearheads partnerships with TiVo and Rovi, and drives strategic communications with customers across the globe. Colleagues rave about his intellect and insight—not to mention a sense of humor puts him at the center of every meeting.
