Layer3 TV has teased us since its first press release in 2014, keeping their plans pretty mysterious. However, when the company’s allHD Platinum package launched this fall in Chicago and Washington D.C., it was clear that this is an entirely new kind of cable company. By managing a proprietary IP network, Layer3 TV doesn’t rely on the public Internet and can therefore safeguard best in class performance. With plans to expand into additional markets and add next-gen enhancements soon, including an OTT component, we can’t wait to see what the future brings.
