Craig Robinson

Robinson oversees initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace and a culture of belonging, which includes the 80 global ERG chapters serving 30,000 members. He spearheads social justice efforts to build programs and partnerships around the world to drive meaningful change against racism and inequality. In Robinson’s role as the “voice” of DEI for NBC- Universal, he communicates with employees on the organization’s DEI efforts, from one-on-one meetings to company-wide announcements.

Who is an unsung DEI hero? Diana Rodriguez and Anne Marie Gothard, Co-Founders of Pride Live, have worked tirelessly to increase LGBTQIA+ representation and awareness. They spearheaded the effort to establish the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center in Manhattan, the first LGBTQIA+ visitor center within the National Park Service, which opened in 2024.

What movie or show is must-watch for celebrating diversity? Happily, there are quite a few, and many of them are either produced by or on NBC platforms! But if I had to choose, I would recommend NBC’s Lopez vs. Lopez, which has Hispanic talent both in front of and behind the camera. The show is consistently authentic, impactful and entertaining. I have known Mayan Lopez, the Mexican American star and producer of the show, and her mother, Ann Lopez for many years and love how they have woven their personal story into a show with so much heart.

What nonprofit are you proud to champion and why? My parents both dedicated their careers to community service in Southern California and giving back has always been important to our family. As we all know, hunger remains one of the most pressing issues in America – a heartbreaking reality. We are honored to support the expansion of the LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert’s Food Bank, which provides essentials to so many families in need 52 weeks a year.
