Hilary Smith

Smith led the creation in 2022 of NBCU’s Creative Impact Lab, which provides grants to nonprofit creative agencies that employ apprentices from under-represented communities and commissions them to tell the stories of other nonprofit “clients.” This year she oversaw a Lab collab tied to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, where her team offered the Challenged Athletes Foundation the opportunity to have a 30-second PSA.

“A skill I am currently working on is continuing to network and learn what other companies are doing in my field of CSR. I am a strong believer that CSR is not competitive. The more we share best practices and collaborate across industries, the more impact we can make collectively.”
