“Companies should focus on internal development. Creating structured mentorship and sponsorship programs can empower women to step into leadership roles confidently.”

What benefits should companies consider offering to support women advancement and to make the workplace more equitable? To ensure more women reach senior leadership positions, companies should focus on internal development. Promoting and supporting existing leaders, while also offering visibility and development opportunities for aspiring female leaders, is crucial. Creating structured mentorship and sponsorship programs can empower women to step into leadership roles confidently. At Paramount Advertising, I’m proud of our initiative called “The Exchange” – an ongoing, year-round program that brings together senior women leaders in advertising both internally and externally with clients and agencies to create peer groups among female executives. It acts as a catalyst for fostering connections, igniting conversations, and sharing perspectives which ultimately drives the advancement of women in our industry.
