When Kehoe-Flower joined her sister Pat Kehoe’s advertising and marketing agency 30 years ago, it was as a production manager. “I had no intention of starting a family business, but I was just lucky that I could persuade Maura to leave her production job and join me. Some of that persuasion may have been from our family dynamics of me being the eldest and she the youngest,” quips Kehoe. Over the years, Kehoe-Flower received multiple promotions, earned her Master’s in Business and is prepared to step up as the next leader of PK Network one day. The two have complemented each other well, sharing common values and work ethic, while still being willing to zig while the other zags. Kehoe-Flower manages and supervises a team of creatives, marketers and outside vendors that has resulted in PK producing successful client ROI and award-winning work. Notably, she mentors and supports younger team members and recent college grads along the way. “If I wasn’t interested in getting a younger perspective, I’d be in the wrong business. It’s great to collaborate, hear innovative ideas and build trust, which leads to creativity and growth,” she says. “I’ve never asked anyone to do something I haven’t already done myself.” That empathetic nature extends to PK’s clients and vendors, keeping strong connections even when things get stressful. “When you’ve got a job to do together, you need to be on the same page from the beginning,” explains Kehoe-Flower. “You also need to be flexible, able to deal with changes and redirection, even if it’s in the middle of a project. And, of course, having a sense of humor always helps.”

“I believe the success of every company is a trustworthy and loyal staff. How could I ask for more than with my own sister? Maura’s commitment to PK Network goes far beyond a job description.”
