Before recently joining Harmonic, Gillies was at NCTC, leading PR, member communications and the cooperative’s industry narrative. Now on the vendor side, she’s helping Harmonic expand as it looks to keep supporting its operator partners. You can also find Gillies on the board of the Mid-America Cable Telecommunications Association, where she serves as treasurer.

What has been your favorite trend from the past year? My favorite trend this past year in AI is the advancement of technology watching this revolution and learning is just as relevant if not more so as when the internet was launched. Innovations in generative models have made it easier to produce a framework and ideate. This technological leap empowers creators, streamlining processes and opening new avenues for creativity and collaboration across industries.
