You have the option of either playing golf, kayaking or venturing on an exclusive tour of White Oak Conservation on Monday, April 30, 2018. When registering, please indicate which activity you would like to participate in.
GOLFING: The Golf Club of Amelia Island is a very playable, yet challenging golf course. The layout offers two distinct settings. The front nine was designed around large oak trees and lakes, while the back nine is well protected by marshes that will reward well placed shots and will penalize less accurate efforts. Wide fairways and large, undulating greens dictate play throughout the course. And, while the course is not lengthy by most standards, the ocean breezes can turn this gentle test into certain fury.
You will be notified of your teams onsite at registration (Shotgun Start).
AMAZING KAYAKING: Allow our experienced guides to teach you how to kayak along the waterways of our Amelia Island. Explore wild and scenic places and share the guide’s passion for paddling. This highly-personalized service and tailor-made adventures ensure your experience will be unforgettable from beginning to end.
After a short explanation of the kayaking procedures your tour will begin. As you arrive, the guides will help you choose a kayak that is suitable for your weight and height. Personal floatation devices are required for the safety of everyone. For the inexperienced paddler, a brief lesson is given on how to row and exit your boat.
WHITE OAK CONSERVATION TOUR: Located on 6,500 acres of land along the St. Marys river in northeast Florida White Oak is home to one of the world’s premier wildlife breeding, research and training facilities. The wildlife conservation facility spans 600 acres and is surrounded by pine and hardwood forest and wetlands, and is home to 28 species of endangered animals. Experience the animals in their natural surroundings from open-air vehicles.
White Oak Conservation’s mission is to save endangered wildlife and habitats through sustainable conservation breeding, education and responsible land stewardship.

The Cablefax Leaders Retreat is designed specifically for content and broadband leaders Cablefax reviews and approves each individual participant to ensure a conversation amongst a community of senior industry executives.
