On November 8, Cablefax was proud to unveil the Program & Trailer Award winners at an awards gala at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles in addition to celebrating an impressive crop of honorable mentions.

Cablefax also inducted the 2018 honorees into our prestigious TV Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Sarah Barnett, president, entertainment networks at AMC Networks; Pop President Brad Schwartz; and Comedy Central’s irrepressible “South Park,” accepted by longtime South Park creative director Christopher Brion.

While introducing first honoree, Brad Schwartz, Comcast EVP David Clark recounted the exec’s tenacity as execs soon realized that “he’s the guy” to take on tough new gigs, leading to his current role as Pop president, with Schwartz thanking those who mentored him along the way.

And BBC America’s Sarah Barnett, who was busy in NYC absorbing her new duties after her recent promotion, sent a hilarious acceptance video in which she interacted with scenes from some the hit shows she has cultivated over the years, including “Killing Eve” and “Orphan Black.”
