Matt White
Matt White holds an MBA from Daniels College at the University of Denver and a Bachelors in Information Technology from York University. Matt has a broad set of skills developed from working in wireline and wireless telecommunications as well as cable environments. Before coming to CableLabs as the Principal Architect for IP video technologies, Matt worked at Rogers Communications where he architected their end-to-end all-IP video platform. Matt has worked with legacy video and next-gen video platforms and deployed video technologies over leased line, coax and cellular networks. At CableLabs Matt develops next-gen video technologies to support a changing video eco-system with focus on IP video transport, control plane, content processing, device middleware and applications.
Matt is currently the secretary of the IEEE Denver Chapter, an associate board member for the Rocky Mountain chapter of the SCTE as well as passionate volunteer for the US First Robotics program which teaches children engineering skills. Matt also serves as President of the Matthew D. White International Children’s Charity which is working to bring early childhood educational programming to children in low-income families.
