Colleen Fitzpatrick

Nickelodeon has tapped Colleen Fitzpatrick as Vice President, Music, Nickelodeon Group. She’ll report to Doug Cohn, SVP, Music & Talent, and oversee music-based recording, performance and production, which includes digital channels Nick Jr., Nicktoons and TeenNick. On-site management of recording sessions and music video shoots, working with the songwriting and music publishing communities and ensuring Nick’s music initiatives align with business goals fall under her purview. And she’s got plenty of music experience to back it up. Previously at the licensing and publishing division of Collective Songs, Fitzpatrick has worked with Linkin Park, Enrique Iglesias, Alanis Morissette and many others. But that’s not all. We saved the best for last. Remember the singles “Graduation” and “Smile?” That’s right, Fitzpatrick is none other than the multi-platinum recording artist Vitamin C. Oh yeah, and she’s also an actress, having graced the stage of John Waters’ “Hairspray” as Amber Von Tussle. Now that’s knowing your industry.
