She’s also a passionate tennis player.
Melissa Drucker
BBC America has upped Melissa Drucker to svp, television sales. She joined BBC Worldwide North America in 2007 and was a founding member of the U.S. integrated TV and digital ad sales team. Before that, she handled both national and direct response ad sales at The Weather Channel. Melissa is huge fan of running and also a world traveler. When not globetrotting or sprinting through New York City, she’s a full-time mom to her 3 ½ year old son.
Tim Boell
Tim Boell has been appointed vp, distribution and affiliate marketing for Outdoor Channel. In his new post he’ll focus on expanding the network’s reach in the Eastern region and increasing distribution for linear, VOD and TV Everywhere platforms. Boell has more than three decades of experience in the cable industry, including leadership roles at Viacom, Showtime and Sundance. Most recently he was svp, distribution at Asia TV USA. When not at work, Tim spends a great deal of time outdoors with his wife Susan, 22-year-old son Sean and 20-year-old daughter Victoria–in the Adirondacks hiking, fishing, skiing and snowmobiling. He also played rugby at the State University of New York at Brockport and follows the NY Giants, Rangers and Yankees.
Barry McMullin
WWE has hired Barry McMullin as svp of sales and partnership marketing. McMullin has held senior sales positions at the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR), Wasserman Media Group, the NBA and the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. He’ll lead WWE’s sales and partnership marketing division and provide strategic vision for its global sales operation and WWE Network sales strategies. At PBR he was svp, partnerships and served as vp at Wasserman Media Group. His role at the NBA was director of new business development and vp of team marketing. Having lived in Spain, Barry is fluent in Spanish, he tells us. He’s been married for 25 years and is a father of four sons he’s cleverly dubbed “the McMullin Brothers.” Fun fact about his family: His youngest son, Isaac, rushed for over 1,400 yards last year for his tackle football team, Barry says. See for yourself.
