Cox Enterprises Acquires Axios

Digital media company Axios agreed to sell itself to Cox Enterprises in a deal that values the outlet at $525 million. Axios co-founders Jim VandeHei, Mike Allen and Roy Schwartz will continue to lead the editorial and day-to-day business decisions and keep substantial stakes in the company.
